The Sounds of Crystal Fetish

For rooms that glow after dusk. For the glances you don’t look away from. Crystal Fetish is luminous, alluring, and velvet at the edges — this playlist is too.

We created The Sounds of Crystal Fetish, a Spotify playlist for the luminous hours before the night begins. Sparkling, satin, then velvet-warm. Made for getting ready in mirror-light, for the text that says “on my way,” for the moment the room turns electric.

Why a Playlist?

Because Crystal Fetish was never meant to sit still. Inspired by 80's Italian glamour, it opens bright (mandarin, ylang-ylang, bergamot), melts into cashmere wood and amber, and settles in musk, sandalwood, and tonka. Music can do the same.

This playlist mirrors the way Crystal Fetish burns:

  • Opening notes: clean, crystalline synths and champagne-tempo disco - the “sparkle.”
  • Heart notes: late-night satin, cool, controlled groove, a touch of soaked florals.
  • Base notes: ambered, narcotic glide, long basslines, warm pads, velvet fade.

Tracklist Highlights

You’ll hear faceted shimmer and slow-burn warmth - from Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder’s gleam to Róisín Murphy’s cool strut; neon gloss from Magdalena Bay, a glassy edge from Grimes, and hyper-polished pop from Addison Rae. The descent gets narcotic and skin-close with The Weeknd (“The Party & The After Party”), then closes on an icy, cinematic hush with Madonna’s “Frozen.”

Every selection was chosen to catch the light, then linger—just like Crystal Fetish.

Make It Part of Your Ritual

Light the candle. Dim the room. Let the first few tracks set the shimmer, then let the set do the rest - no skips, just a slow glide from cut-glass brilliance to velvet heat.
